College Life

So As I have been here in Hawaii I have learned so much about myself.  Im not gonna lie and say that it was easy to come here, because it was the hardest thing I have ever had to go through.  Some people may think its easy because your living in paradise, but its not paradise when you are completely by yourself.  So I got here in September with my mom, and we had one week to vacation until I started school.  I probably did more stuff in that week than I have the entire time I have been here.  I am so lucky to have a mom who is my best friend.  I have never laughed so hard then I did that week.  Watching her get pounded by the waves at a beach that is actually called Pounders was probably the funniest thing I have ever seen.  When it came time for her to leave it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do.  Saying goodbye for three months doesn't seem like that long, but it sounded like an eternity for me.  As I watched her drive away I started balling my eyes out. And this girl came over to me, and just gave me a hug.  No idea who the heck she was, but she instantly helped me.  Throughout the beginning of the semester I had a hard time trying to relax.  I was constantly counting down the days, and just couldn't wait to get home.  I never took the time to actually enjoy Hawaii.  Then about half way through I met some of my best friends.  I felt completely comfortable with them, and I started to feel like myself again.  My best friend got to come visit me in November.  It was seriously unreal.  I still can't believe she got to come here.  It was so much fun having her here.  I actually started laughing way hard again.  I am so lucky to have Han she seriously is there for me no matter what.  I can call her anytime of day and I know she will listen to me.  She probably had to hear me complain more than anyone, and no matter what she just kept comforting me.  Even though I hated her guts when I first met her in 5th grade I am so glad we have been best friends for almost 9 years.  Its so weird how the time flies by.  But after Han came about a week later my little sister got to fly out for Thanksgiving.  That was such a fun week.  We stayed in Waikiki and I had a car and a credit card hahahah.  So ya we blew through some money, but it was so worth it.  We got to surf everyday, eat at amazing places, and go to a movie every night.  She made me feel so much better, it was like having a little piece of home with me.  A lot of funny stuff happened while she was here, but I can't really say it because its kinda one of those things where you had to be there.  So after Eva left I was pretty sad, just because I spent every second with her so when she was gone I didn't really know what to do.  I got to go home for christmas, and that was the best Christmas present of all times.  Being able to see my family after three months was amazing.  It seemed like I was never gone.  I got to come home a couple days early so I got to surprise everyone.  It's amazing to me how fast my little siblings grow up.  I got to spend a lot of time with all my friends, especially the ones going on missions.  It was hard having to say bye to them for two years, but I know it will go by fast and we will start up where we left off.  This semester has been amazing.  I love Hawaii so much.  It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen with some of the nicest people I have ever met.  I work at the Polynesian Cultural Center so I get to meet people from around the world every single day.  I can't believe I only have a month and half left.  It is weird how fast the time goes by when you aren't keeping track of it.  I have made so many new friends, and got to experience some pretty amazing things.  I wish my family could come out here, because then my life would be perfect.  Well that a little update on my life.  Ill post some pictures just so you guys can get the full affect.http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151300318272020&set=vb.726072019&type=3&theater
